Warranty Policy – ezToolbox

Thank you for choosing ezToolbox. We take pride in the quality and durability of our products. Please read the following warranty terms carefully:


1. Warranty Periods

  • Structural Warranty: 2 years from the date of purchase.

  • Hardware Warranty: 24 months from the date of purchase.

Proof of purchase is required and can be verified using invoices issued by us or an authorised dealer.


2. Structural Warranty Coverage

Covers manufacturer defects in the structural components of canopies and trays, including welds and frame integrity.


3. Hardware Warranty Coverage

Applies to mechanical components such as:

  • Hinges

  • Gas struts

  • Locks

  • Seals


4. Third-Party Supplier Warranties

Some components are covered under their own supplier warranties, including:

  • 12V electrical systems

  • LED tail lights

  • Blind spot monitoring housings

  • Batteries

In such cases, products may need to be returned to the supplier for inspection and servicing.


5. Warranty Exclusions

The following are not covered:

  • Accidental damage

  • Use outside intended purposes

  • Modifications or alterations

  • Improper installation

However, we may offer repairs for accidental damage at an additional cost.


6. Non-Covered Incidents

  • Theft or attempted theft

  • Any damage resulting from theft or similar incidents


7. Powder Coating

Powder coating is not covered under this warranty. This includes:

  • Scratches

  • Wear due to improper maintenance

Touch-up support may be provided where possible. Customers are expected to follow appropriate care procedures.


8. Self-Installation Exclusion

Products installed by the customer or an unauthorised party are not covered.
Issues from self-installation will be addressed only in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

We strongly recommend professional installation to ensure safety and functionality.


9. Workmanship Guarantee (12 Months)

Covers all installation work done by our team, including:

  • Tail light wiring

  • Reverse camera relocation

  • Blind spot monitoring relocation


10. Blind Spot Monitoring Recalibration

Relocation may require recalibration by your vehicle’s dealership.

Recalibration is not covered under our warranty. We recommend having this done by the manufacturer’s authorised service centre.


11. How to Make a Warranty Claim

Please email your claim to info@eztoolbox.com.au, including:

  • Your full name or business name

  • Invoice number

  • Detailed description of the fault

  • Photos or other supporting evidence


12. Claim Assessment

Warranty claims will be assessed by ezToolbox.
We aim to repair products before offering replacement.

Our team is committed to resolving issues promptly and professionally.


13. Repair Location

All warranty-related repairs must be carried out at the original dealership where the product was installed by our team.

This ensures all work is completed by professionals familiar with your setup, maintaining the integrity of the installation.
